The vision for this session is Spring! You don't have to wait for the "hot" season to have a stunning wedding, and you don't have to make it standard, either! Have fun with colours, unique ideas, and unconventional designs. This is meant to inspire new couples and give ideas for your wedding planning vision!
Venue: Studios at Vic Park
This is a new space in the heart of Calgary downtown. This new Calgary wedding venue is the sister location to Venue 308 and can host 100 standing or 50 seated for your special day. The space is open, bright and ideal for modern medium-sized weddings! Bonus points are that the studio manager and owners are very hands-on, communicative and welcoming! I highly recommend them for your special day!
Wedding Coordinator: Something New YYC Planning
Jenna is an absolute gem and the heart of Calgary-owned wedding planning service! We had a mood board to visualize the decor/setup, and she delivered! I love that she had great ideas to enhance the vision I had, and she knows exactly where to look to bring it all to life with unique decor and setup. Having a wedding planner and coordinator will save you so much anxiety and worry if your day will go exactly how you envision it! And you can focus on your only obligation: being a bride!
Flower Decor: Flower Walls YYC
Brittney and her husband, Hitched by Dustin, are the perfect duo in the Calgary wedding industry! I have seen her unique floral wedding installations on Instagram and have always wanted to photograph their gorgeous arches! These are the best flower arches in Calgary, and oh boy, they look stunning in the session! Depending on the occasion, they have several to choose from, and they even host backyard mini-weddings for couples who want an all-in, stress-free package to get married! How excellent is that idea?
Jewelry: Executive Diamonds
Amanda and I have known each other since university (too many moons ago), and she has been a jeweller since I have known her! She is a part of the management team at Executive Diamonds. Who is better to ask than the professional herself? She came out with a ton of bling for the "bride" and "groom" to enhance the style! I love seeing all the gorgeous pieces! Joanne does some stunning custom calligraphy work in Calgary! It is hand-painted with love, and the best part is that you can keep these pieces as a memory in your home! Robyn typically services the Red Deer area but travels across Alberta for wedding makeup and hair services. We went for lighter makeup with blush cheeks and wavy hair to bring a bit of Spring into the model's look and complement the outfits and jewellery.

Katherine is the owner of a Calgary florist shop that specializes in weddings and special occasion floral arrangements. For this session, she provided a beautiful bouquet, pocket boutonniere, and table spring florals for the decor setup. She knew exactly what to do when I told her about my vision for the session!
